Music Artistry Program

Historically held in March, the Washington State Music Teachers Association Music Artistry Program is a self-supporting annual event developed for students to encourage interest in music and to maintain standards of fine musicianship.  Students perform two pieces individually with the Visiting Artist and receive valuable feedback.

Open to students studying piano, strings, and voice.

Honors Competition

Event Dates | March 15, 2026, 4pm

Registration Deadline | March 6, 2026

Location | Beacock Music

Registration Fee | $23 (repertoire limit 5 min)

Visiting Artists | Deborah Cleaver + Jeff Payne

The Honors Competition is available for students performing two pieces from memory in the Music Artistry Program.  Winners and 1st Place Alternates will represent Clark County and perform at the WSMTA State Conference in June.
